The Shalom Hartman Institute, located in Jerusalem, is a pluralistic research and leadership training institute fostering new directions for Jewish thought and education.  Founded by Rabbi David Hartman, it is one of the most dynamic educational centers in Israel and its influence is felt throughout the entire Jewish world.  Its program empowers people to address the central challenges confronting Jewish tradition and identity and shape the future of Jewish life in Israel and around the world.

We will have a very special opportunity to learn with the faculty at the Hartman Institute through a new and exciting program entitled “Leadership and Crisis – Jewish Resources and Responses.”  Through DVD’s and accompanying texts, we will be able to see and hear lectures by their outstanding faculty in the comfort of the synagogue.  Both Rabbi Saltzman and Rabbi Seed, who have studied at the Hartman Institute, will lead the sessions and discussions in this series.
