David Kaufman’s “The Posthumous Landscape: Jewish Historical Sites in Western Ukraine”

In solidarity with the people of Ukraine, Adath Israel is proud to present David Kaufman’s photography exhibit, “The Posthumous Landscape: Jewish Historical Sites in Western Ukraine”.

Notwithstanding the renaissance of Jewish life in the years leading up to the Russian war, these stunning photographs show the remnants of a once vibrant Jewish community and serve as a reminder of how quickly such vibrancy can disappear. Those who appreciate these photographs are encouraged to donate to a charity of their choice supporting the people of Ukraine.
