Adath Israel gives you the opportunity to connect with others who share similar interests. Behind the social aspect is a commitment to help meet the needs of our synagogue, our youth and our community.
We offer young families a variety of activities including family Shabbat services and meals, musical Havdalah programs, festival celebrations, study opportunities and many more spiritual and social programs targeted towards families with children. We provide you with opportunities to build new friendships.
Join us for congregational Shabbat dinners where you will enjoy a delicious meal, sing songs, meet other members, and participate in enriching activities.
Sisterhood appeals to today’s modern Jewish women, with programs that feature adult study, current events, movies, cooking classes, a book club and our very special “Golden Hands” quilting, beading and Needlecraft afternoons.
Brotherhood enhances its many social activities with shul-centered programs for Chanukah and Purim as well as annual fundraising events that have helped make Adath Israel the synagogue it is today.
Club L’Chayim, formed in 1984 for members 70 and better, offers wonderful cultural, education and recreation activities for this vibrant segment of our population.
Bring your own special warmth and understanding to bereaved families, members in need, or those in hospital by being part of our Chesed Committee. You’ll grow stronger as you bring strength to others.
